Financial Information

Running a state competitive band program is very expensive. Our program at LNHS is funded via the following sources:

• Student dues and user fees
• The Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township and Lawrence North High School
• Fundraisers sponsored by the Lawrence North Band Boosters.

In order to ensure that all students receive the best music experiences possible, it is important to volunteer time in support of the fundraisers organized for the benefit of the bands and to pay student dues on time. We encourage you to take advantage of the many and varied fundraising opportunities that we offer. If you have a need for a monthly or weekly payment, please do not hesitate to contact the band office in writing to provide the dates and payments you wish to make. We ask that you make every attempt to complete payments as soon as you are able.

Scholarships
Sibling and/or financial need scholarships are available for qualifying families. If a band student qualifies for LNHS school textbook and/or lunch assistance, he/she also qualifies for band fee assistance. Our band booster organization will pay up to half of a student’s fees provided the student pays or fundraises the remaining balance. To receive assistance, paper work must be on file with the LNHS treasurer and a written request made to the band director and/or band booster president.
